As a rider since my earliest childhood, I had the chance to discover several recreational or competitive equestrian disciplines: hunter / jumper and Cross-country show jumping, Dressage, rallies and "hunter-pace", trail riding, circuits of provincial and national competition, etc. In addition, I always had an interest and a desire to learn more about other equestrian disciplines: western riding, driving, TREC, etc. I also developed a strong interest in everything related to human and equine biomechanics, going as far as pursuing in-depth studies in fasciatherapy and integral anatomy.

Having a solid foundation in classical dressage, I like to train horses on various mobility exercises, both indoors and outdoors. In my family, we have always practiced Dressage in the heart of nature, using the difficulties of the terrain or the landscape elements as a basis or reference points.

In summer 2016, I had the chance to discover Working Equitation while attending a clinic with Carlos Carneiro, American national champion in this discipline. I loved my experience. Afterward, I kept my regular personal practice on various obstacles and exercises.

I accepted to get involved in the founding of the national organization "Working Equitation Canada", for which I hold the position of Vice-president, Quebec provincial director, member of the "Events Committee", "Licenced Officials committee" , "Translation Committee" and "Competition Rules Committee". I also serve as the President of the WESQ Chapter.

I teach and give introductory and advancement clinics in WE. Clinics generally include a "Yoga and biomechanics of the rider" portion. I also offer services on the WEPat page and on the website of the same name.

I collaborate in virtual WE competitions as "guest coach" or "judge", including the "Virtual Fun Shows series" in Manitoba in spring 2021.

I am a licensed Yoga Tune Up® teacher and I teach the "eYo Method" I created about EquiYoga and Human and Equine Fasciatherapy.

I offer virtual Yoga lessons (in English) on the Equestrian Winter Yoga Challenge Facebook group to riders from all over the world.

In August 2019, I participated as a rider and instructor in the Cross-National WE Cup, an international WE camp and competition in Alberta that brought together over 150 participants from the United States, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.

In 2020, I was invited to participate as an instructor and competitor at the Cross-National Down Under, Australia. This event has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

I periodically give free webinars about WE on the official page of WECan in Quebec.

Passionate since my childhood, rider for 20 years abd horse owner for 13 years. My first years of riding and training were in western riding. Horsemanship, foal education, breaking out, training, instruction, reining, barrel ... hundreds of hours of training.

This passion led me to own my equestrian center, Ranch Duo-Caroma, and my riding school where I taught there for 8 years. This period gave me a lot of experience in the stable management.

It was also during this period that I oriented my riding towards classical dressage. Discipline that I have been practicing for about 8 years now. I no longer count the hours of lessons and training that I took ! Too many! Hundreds I imagine! I have participated in numerous competitions, both regionally and nationally, as well as the Quebec Equestrian Games on two occasions with two different horses.

Always wanting to learn more and improve ourselves even more, my interest is focused on Working Equitation riding. For many years I have watched it from afar, finding it a pity that we do not have this discipline here ... But it happens! So guess who participated in the first official clinic for this discipline last year! Me and Figaro! And we both loved it! I consider this discipline to be a perfect combination of everything that exists!

Wishing greatly that this discipline will develop in our region, it is with full motivation that I joined this team without hesitation for the formation of this new Chapter. Hoping that my experiences will help and serve the advancement of the discipline here, in Quebec and in Canada.

Always passionate about horses, I had my first horse at 11 years old. It was the start of a great adventure.

I am now an instructor and owner of Centre ÉquiConnexion. Over time, I developed a strong interest in dressage, equine agility and liberty training.

It is therefore natural that I fell in love with Working Equitation when I had the privilege of participating in a clinic run by Jill Baron, (judge recognized by WECan) who confirmed my enthusiasm for this discipline.

Indeed, my primary desire is to develop a harmonious relationship based on a better understanding of equine behavior, and this is what attracted me to Working Equitation; communication, harmony, balance and relaxation are among the many qualities required to be successful.

In WE, the horse's contribution is solicited, his intelligence is put to good use: the equine partner is brought to understand the objectives of the tasks to be performed and his involvement then becomes a valuable and indispensable asset. Their participation and commitment in the process are essential and a guarantee of success!

As a founding member of the Southern Quebec chapter, I am keen to introduce and share this fascinating discipline of WE with as many people as possible.

Hope to meet you soon !

Just like my team mates, it gives me great pleasure to join the WeCan Southern Chapter board of directors..

Since my teenage years, I have enjoyed several equestrian disciplines, going from cross-country, to jumping, then dressage, trail riding and even driving. After a break of a few years devoted to children, I put both boots back in and it was my coach Geneviève Dumais, also a founding member of the chapter, who first told me about this brilliant new discipline that is Working Equitation.

What more could you ask from a discipline that combines dressage, obstacle, speed and fun? Plus, the ultimate, whether you're an English, Western, Australian saddle rider, looking for a personal challenge or just a way to have fun on horseback, WE does not discriminate.

I was fortunate enough to attend the first official clinic at the La Chevalerie last year with Jill Barron. I then chose to get involved in WECan's Translation Committee; just fun and I learned a lot too.

So that's what I wish you all through this discipline.

See you soon !
